mooneyphoto is a partnership between Keely Edge,
Julian Hodgson and Simon Mooney. We got together
in late 1995 after working as a teacher, press
photographer and art director.

Since then, we've spent most of our time building
football photo libraries and shooting advertising
commissions. These have produced a front page
news picture, animated tv commercials, photographs
from seventy games behind-the-scenes with the
England football team and award-winning press ads.

Our aim has always been to take great pictures
mixing the spontaneity and drama of our editorial
work with the creativity and production values of the
advertising world.

Clients have included some of the best advertising

agencies in Europe and America, newspapers around
the world, football governing bodies, Premier League
clubs and major sponsors.

We started the Football Association’s Official Photo
Library in 1999 and ran it until 2006. We covered
the game from grassroots to the World Cup Finals
including four years documenting the construction
of the new Wembley Stadium.

Our advertising work has featured in the D&AD, AoP,
Campaign Press and Cannes Lions awards.

We are currently official photographers at Tottenham
Hotspur FC having published two books and made
the short film Matchday with the club. We also work
for the David Beckham Academy and run its online
photo library.
