One evening earlier this week, I met my friend and lawyer Rupert Grey in Covent Garden. He'd recently arrived back in London after spending six months driving his 1936 Rolls Royce through India. I took the 341 bus from Stoke Newington and shot a few pictures through the window of the top deck. It's good practice as everything's moving and the light was fading fast. I also like to make visual notes of places that catch the eye - who knows when I'll need to find a Tudor style building or a Brutalist skyline?
The route included Islington, Clerkenwell and Holborn and took about half an hour.
